Last year I stocked up on cheesy Christmas jewelry to wear to school before Christmas break. So, this morning, I broke out some sweet snowman earrings.
Emmalee walks in my classroom this afternoon and says "Ohhh I love your earrings! I love that you wear stuff like that to school as a teacher." If it had ended there, I'd have just left feeling good about myself. But, no. She continued, "I mean, usually it's just really old ladies that wear things like that. So..it's so...cool that you do it."

SWEET!! But I can't keep up with you!! One minute you want to be seen as older and now that you are...it's no good!! I mean Jodi, I guess you are either elderly or a teenybopper! Own it and LOVE it.
